Wildflowers Farmer’s Market
WFM Pitch Deck Booklet Designed & Written Entirely by Sturling
Wildflowers Farmer’s Market (WFM) Pitch Deck Booklet was indeed designed and written, in it’s entirety, by Los Angeles graphic designer, Linda Sturling. The client, Russell Geyser of Geyser Holdings (and film producer), was very happy with the end result, even writing to designer Sturling in an email, “This is BEYOND insane. You have crushed this… You have done a job that is extraordinary…because what you have created is beyond my expectation. Thank you SO much for all you have done.” He was also extremely pleased that he made minimal effort because freelancer Linda Sturling, wrote and designed everything. Mr. Geyser only edited about 5 sentences of the 40 page Booklet Pitch Deck for WFM, presented to Pierce College in Los Angeles, California.
On a side note, graphic designer Sturling also created the farmer’s market itself and all the structures using Sketchup Pro. If you would like to view Sturling’s life-size 3D original file, please contact her.
You may be wondering how does a graphic designer end up designing a farmer’s market? Well, during Mr. Geyser’s first phone call with freelancer Linda Sturling, he asked her if she would like to work on a pitch deck for a farmer’s market. Without thinking, Sturling assumed a need and blurted out “architectural drawings.” At first, Geyser said, “no, graphic design for a pitch deck,” then abruptly said he would call her back in two days. After two days, Geyser called freelance designer Sturling and asked her if she would like to do the architectural drawings along with the pitch deck booklet. Sturling was so excited she immediately agreed. Geyser told her to do the Site Layout first, then the drawings. Freelance graphic artist and designer, Sturling, gathered all the limitations and restrictions and created a Site Layout, after approval, she created the 3D architectural structures in Sketchup. After approval, she worked on writing and designing the booklet pitch deck.
Creating the Site Layout, 3D Architectural Renderings and Pitch Deck Booklet has been one of the most exciting and adventurous work projects artist and designer, Linda Sturling, has ever worked on. She hopes to expand her portfolio in this area because she had so much fun every step of the way. It was challenging work for a Los Angeles graphic designer, but Linda Sturling thoroughly enjoyed working on this booklet project that went way beyond the pitch deck and she gave it her very best, as she always does with everyone.
