The new Los Angeles restaurant, Mama Shawerma, needed a logo, website and all graphic design work for their opening date in late 2019. The owner had a name and menu but no identity direction. Graphic Designer in LA, Linda Sturling, worked to create a brand that emphasize key qualities. A modern, fresh, and happy brand was born.
The Mama Shawerma logo looks happy and smiling, much like the owners themselves, who came from humble beginnings. The logo design also emphasizes fresh vegetables that look hand-tossed. The text in the logo has a Mediterranean feel. The colors of the new brand are bright, cheerful and optimistic. This theme is carried throughout all graphic design work, images, and the display video.
